The Dalton Party Workshop

Join Meg Bitton and Sarah Morris for a day of learning hosted at Sarah’s home on August 6th, 2021 in Dalton, Georgia.

Sarah will begin the workshop shooting lifestyle in home. She will walk you through photographing the everyday using available light. Learn to gain confidence in your lifestyle work and master using light indoors using the tips and techniques Sarah will teach you. She will discuss equipment, composition, exposure, metering and capturing natural poses while ensuring your subject is comfortable in front of the camera. Capture the beauty of everyday life confidently and with love, using the instruction Sarah will provide.

After a discussion with Meg and Sarah, we will travel to another location where Meg will teach shooting during the golden hour. Meg will provide the model, wardrobing, appropriate props. The time with Meg, learning both technical elements and how to artistically achieve your vision, is invaluable. Experience the magic of Meg that only an in person workshop can provide in a rare travel event.

Join us for a day in the South and an unforgettable experience in two different shooting styles. The day will begin at 5:30pm. We will do introductions until 6:00 pm and move into instructional lifestyle shooting indoors until 7:00pm. At that time, we will travel to the location Meg will be using for her golden hour shoot. From 7:30-8:30pm we will be shooting in Meg's beautiful golden hour location. We will return to Sarah's home at 9:00pm for a pool, tequila, and barbeque party. Be prepared for a magical night under the stars.
