One of the great things about Photoshop is that there are many ways to accomplish the same look depending on your preferences.  In this video, I will show you how I create the look of a compressed background using curves only, a concept I call “no blur.”  Starting with a peaceful portrait in a lush forest setting, I’ll use simple curves adjustments to reduce background distractions and make this little girl shine.
