Foundations of Tonal Separation – January 2021

Join Meg in a private immersive group experience where you will work together to learn the foundations of tonal separation in editing! This Foundations course is open to ALL skill levels, and each level, from beginner to advanced will learn and benefit from this week with Meg! A truly immersive, original experience!

Foundations of Tonal Separation will begin on January 11th. On the first day of class, Meg will post an editing video detailing the foundations of creating tonal separation in your edits. An album will be posted, and assignments will be due the following Thursday evening. On Friday, Meg will choose TEN images-five that successfully used blending tools and five that missed the mark, and she will explain why and ways to make improvements in those images.

You will receive LIFETIME ACCESS to ALL of the Videos in this course.

There is NO requirement that you post images or that you participate in the discussions. You are free to just read the threads and enjoy the videos. We all learn at our own pace and in our own way. You can watch and follow along silently, if that is your preference.

The link to join the group will be available on the course page once you purchase the workshop. You will have to provide your email address AND secret code provided in order to join the private group! You will be approved individually, shortly BEFORE the experience begins.

“One of my favorite classes! I love that you showed us how to change the photo in your critique and what could of been done differently to improve it even more. I'm a visual learner and this really helped! Thank you!”

“Meg knows her stuff! I look at the images in the critique and I think beautiful, and then makes them even more so! But the best part is she shows us how she improved the image and after viewing a couple of the critiques, I start to think, I can do that.”

— PATTI L.

“My last review was removed? Good course but only runs for one week not one month”

“I'm amazed! Meg explains the process so clearly. Now I just need to practice 'seeing' or even imagining the possible colors. The critique video going through each photo quickly gave me some Ah-ha moments. (Fast paced and very helpful!) I loved the way you talked about and processed each image!!”
