Foundations of Building an Image - June 2021

Have you ever wondered how to create a beautiful storytelling portrait, landscape, or tried to fit elements into an image but couldn’t quite make it work? Maybe you didn’t have a wide angle lens to fit it all into your frame, or maybe you only have a shorter lens and crave that soft dreamy background and want to achieve the look of a longer lens. Did you know you can ? Whether you shoot with a 200mm, 50mm or anything in between - join Keri Ciofolo in learning how to shoot for and put together parts of an image and open up a world of possibilities as well as improving your image taking and planning to create works of art that go beyond just a simple shot!

Foundations of Building an Image will begin on June 7th and will continue for 4 weeks. Every Monday Keri will introduce a new topic for the week. She will also post a Q & A thread in the group where you will be able to ask her questions about the topics for the week. Each week she will assign an assignment to help solidify the concepts you learned each week!

• Week 1: June 7…………Introduction and overview of course with examples of before and afters and how to use image building to create a more interesting final image.
• Week 2: June 14 ………Getting rid of distracting background elements and enhancing your backgrounds by shooting for them with manual focus with an in depth tutorial and edit.
• Week 3: June 21……….Changing final image composition and structures of an image by flipping, resizing and changing them with examples and an edit.
• Week 4: June 28……….Shooting and stitching multiple images together with in depth discussion and on the hows and why with final edit.

Space WILL be limited in this Foundations course.

You will receive LIFETIME ACCESS to ALL of the Videos in this course.

There is NO requirement that you post images or that you participate in the discussions. You are free to just read the threads and enjoy the videos. We all learn at our own pace and in our own way. You can watch and follow along silently, if that is your preference.

The link to join the group will be available on the course page once you purchase the workshop. You will have to provide your email address AND secret code provided in order to join the private group! You will be approved individually, shortly BEFORE the experience begins.
